Job summary

TLTP Education is recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant for a secondary school in Hounslow. The role involves 1:1 support for a student with complex behavioural needs and requires restraint training and strong behaviour management experience.

The position is full-time starting in September and runs for the full academic year, with close collaboration with the SENCo and teaching staff to implement effective strategies and ensure student engagement and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND or behavioural needs.
• Excellent behaviour management skills and resilience under pressure.
• Accredited restraint training (e.g., Team Teach, PRICE, MAPA) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a secondary-aged student with complex needs.
• Implement behaviour support strategies and de-escalation techniques.
• Help the student access the curriculum safely and successfully.
