TeacherActive is delighted to be working with a highly respected independent specialist education provider in Isleworth, London, seeking a dedicated SEN TA to join their team from September 2026. As an SEN TA, you will provide dedicated one-to-one support to a young adult, helping them access learning, build confidence and achieve their individual goals. You will adapt learning activities to meet their needs, encourage independence, promote positive behaviour and provide consistent encouragement throughout the school day.
Working closely with teachers, therapists and the wider multidisciplinary team, you will help create engaging, practical learning experiences that inspire students to discover their strengths and prepare them for life beyond education. This role is ideal for someone who is compassionate, proactive and committed to making a meaningful difference to the lives of young people with autism and additional needs.
The successful SEN TA will have:
Experience supporting children or young adults with SEND, autism or additional learning needs within education, care or support settings
A calm, patient and nurturing approach with strong behaviour management skills
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
A proactive, flexible and reliable attitude
A genuine passion for helping young people develop confidence, independence and essential life skills
