Job Title: SEN Support Worker

GSL Education is working with an alternative provision in Cullompton seeking a SEN Support Worker to join their team.

Contract: Full time, 8.30am to 3.30pm – Monday to Friday

About the School

The school caters for children and young adults aged 11-16 with SEMH, including those who have Autism, ADHD, and present challenging behaviours associated with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

Who We Are Looking For

We seek a compassionate and patient SEN Support Worker to join on a full-time, long-term basis. The ideal candidate will have an adaptable approach, a great sense of humour, and the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.

Requirements

• Experience supporting children with SEND (professionally or personally)
• Strong interpersonal skills to connect with children and their families
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting children with additional needs
• Collaborative approach working alongside teachers, parents, and professionals
• Availability to start ASAP on a full-time basis
• Must have UK driving license and own car
