Are you passionate about education and dedicated to supporting students in their learning journey? A local School in Blandford is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic SEN Support Worker to join their committed team.

As a SEN Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and students across various subjects and age groups. Responsibilities include:

  • Support teachers in delivering lessons and implementing learning activities.
  • Provide individualised support to students with diverse learning needs.

  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to meet the educational needs of students.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A patient and empathetic approach to supporting students.
  • Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
