Don Valley Academy invites applications for a SEN Support Officer to join our academy in November 2026 on a full-time, temporary basis to cover maternity leave.

You will provide administrative support for the SENCO, track and deliver interventions to improve pupil progress, and manage the deployment of Teaching Assistants to support student needs across the academy.

Qualifications

• Experience in SEN administration or related role.
• Understanding of interventions to improve pupil progress.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for the SENCO and track/deliver interventions to improve pupil progress.
• Manage the deployment and performance of Teaching Assistants to support student needs across the academy.
• Deliver bespoke intervention packages to secondary pupils with SEND.
