Lodge Park Academy is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support students with special educational needs, help keep pupils on task, and promote safeguarding across the learning environment. You will work under the SENDCo and be a positive role model for students.

Essential qualifications include NVQ 3 or equivalent, GCSE English and Maths, and experience supporting learners with reading and writing challenges. The role offers a permanent position with term-time hours.

Qualificações

• NVQ 3 or equivalent relating to supporting teaching and learning in schools.
• GCSE English and Maths/ equivalent
• Experience working with children in an education setting.
• Experience supporting students who have difficulty in reading and writing.

Responsabilidades

• Support individual students with SEN and keep pupils on task.
• Assist with development and implementation of Pupil Profiles.
• Establish productive relationships with students and model high expectations.
• Support safeguarding and welfare of children.
