Job summary

Academics is seeking SEN Support Assistants to work in busy, welcoming SEN provisions in the Littleborough area, including Milnrow, Todmorden and Rochdale. You will support pupils with learning and development in a nurturing setting.

Candidates should have experience supporting children or young people with SEN in a school or care setting, be patient, calm under pressure, and a strong team player with good communication.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
• Experience in a school, educational setting, care work, youth work or personal SEN experience.

Responsibilities

Are you a nurturing, calm and positive individual with experience supporting children or young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

Academics is currently recruiting SEN Support Assistants to work in busy, welcoming and supportive SEN provisions in the Littlebrough area, including Milnrow, Todmorden and Rochdale.

The Role

• Support pupils with their learning, emotional and behavioural development.
• Work closely with the class teacher and wider school team.
• Help pupils achieve their individual targets and make progress.
