Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated SEN Specialist Tutor to provide high-quality 1:1 tuition to learners across Rochdale. The role focuses on building confidence, improving communication and helping students achieve educational, employment or personal goals in a flexible, learner-centred setting.

Tuition may take place in learners' homes, community venues or other agreed locations, with 5–15 hours per week, starting ASAP.

The Opportunity

Prospero Teaching is seeking dedicated and experienced SEN Specialist Tutors to provide high-quality 1:1 tuition to learners across Rochdale.

Experience, Training and Qualifications

The successful SEN Specialist Tutor will have:

• A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, CELTA, DELTA, TEFL/TESOL or equivalent)
• Experience working on a 1:1 basis or with small groups
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient, adaptable and learner-centred approach

To be eligible for this role, you must:

• Hold the Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one
• Provide two professional references relating to work with children or vulnerable adults
