Job summary

Camberwell Park Specialist School, part of Prospere Learning Trust, invites two SEN Teachers to join our dedicated team on permanent, full-time contracts. You will teach in an inclusive specialist setting with high expectations and a focus on personalised learning for pupils with additional needs.

The role requires QTS, experience with SEN, collaborative practice and commitment to pupil wellbeing. We offer the Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale plus SEN allowance and a January 2027 start.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS and is qualified to teach in the UK.
• Experience teaching pupils with additional needs, ideally in a specialist setting.
• Excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations for all learners.
• Commitment to personalised learning and adaptive teaching.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and evaluate engaging lessons meeting diverse learning needs.
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• Assess and report pupil progress with appropriate interventions.
• Support pupils' social, emotional and personal development alongside academics.
• Promote positive behaviour for learning in line with school policies.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, teaching resources and assessment practices.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching and learning.
• Build relationships with parents, carers and external agencies to support outcomes.
• Contribute to school self-evaluation and improvement initiatives.
• Engage in professional development and support colleagues as appropriate.
• Active participation in wider school life.
