Job summary

Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our SEN/SEMH settings on a full-time basis, starting ASAP subject to vetting. You will support pupils 1:1 and in small groups, encourage engagement, and help manage challenging behaviours using positive strategies.

Qualifications

• Background in sports coaching, sports education, youth work, mentoring, behaviour support, or SEN support.
• Experience working with children or young people displaying challenging behaviours.
• Confident, resilient and able to remain calm under pressure.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Passionate about supporting vulnerable young people to achieve their potential.

Are you a passionate and resilient individual with a background in sports coaching, mentoring, youth work, or behaviour support? Do you have experience working with children and young people who display challenging behaviours? If so, we'd love to hear from you.

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant to support pupils within SEN and SEMH schools. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference to the lives of young people who require additional support both inside and outside the classroom.
