TeacherActive Ltd invites applications for a Speech and Language Therapist to join a dedicated clinical team at an SEN school in Oxford. You will manage your own caseload, conduct detailed assessments and design tailored intervention plans to support children's communication development.

The role emphasizes collaboration with teachers, families and other clinicians, applying trauma-informed, neurodiversity-aware approaches and maintaining precise documentation in line with HCPC standards.

Formación

• Holds a recognised undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
• Current HCPC registration.
• Membership or registration with RCSLT.
• Experience supporting individuals with varied and complex communication needs.
• Understanding of neurodiversity and trauma-informed approaches.
• Knowledge of assessment methods, intervention techniques and individual support planning.
• Understanding of clinical legislation and professional standards.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals.
• Ability to use clinical judgement and manage an individual caseload.
• Willingness to undertake further training and develop specialist knowledge.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out detailed Speech and Language Therapy assessments to identify communication strengths and needs.
• Design and deliver personalised therapy programmes and intervention strategies.
• Manage an allocated caseload, monitor progress and adapt support as needed.
• Advise and support teaching staff to embed communication strategies in learning.
• Contribute to staff development through training and clinical consultation.
• Collaborate with families, carers and external professionals to ensure consistent approaches.
• Apply trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming practices.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with professional standards and legislation.
