Horizon Care and Education Group is recruiting a School Administrator for Meadowbrook SEN School in Long Eaton. You will support the Head Teacher, manage admissions, records, purchases, room bookings, and daily reception duties as part of a dynamic educational team.

The role offers a substantial administrative function within an independent specialist day school for up to 90 pupils aged 5-19 with Autism. Refurbishment is underway; upbeat, compassionate staff are valued.

Responsabilités

• Be point of contact for the Head Teacher
• Process admissions paperwork and keep vital records up to date, such as attendance registers
• Take care of purchases and petty cash returns, from all staff
• Organise room/facilities bookings for the school
• Collate reports as requested
• Be the friendly voice at the end of the phone for incoming/outgoing calls
• Complete duties to facilitate school registration
• Carry out annual reviews of paperwork, and keep contracts up to date
• Continue to bring historical data together to show progress and administrative integrity
• General administrative duties as directed by Head Teacher
• Build relationships with our students, and be a trusted person in their school
• Help outside of the box – could you collect supplies to make lessons more fun, or provide transport for school trips?
• Know our school inside and out, and be passionate about the work we do
