Academics Ltd in Hillingdon is seeking an experienced Designated Safeguarding Lead to join a specialist SEN school. You will lead safeguarding and child protection, promote a strong safeguarding culture and work with staff, parents and external agencies to keep pupils safe.

Starting ASAP or January 2027, this full-time role offers a competitive salary dependent on experience and qualifications, with a commitment to high standards of welfare and inclusive education.

Qualifications

• Substantial safeguarding experience and understanding of child protection procedures.
• Experience in school or SEN settings preferred.
• Knowledge of safeguarding legislation and referral procedures.

Responsabilités

• Lead safeguarding and child protection procedures across the school.
• Serve as the main point of contact for safeguarding concerns and escalation.
• Collaborate with headteacher and staff to maintain safeguarding standards.
• Liaise with social care and external safeguarding partners as needed.
• Maintain accurate, confidential safeguarding records and policies.
• Support staff training on safeguarding responsibilities.
