Job summary

Smile Education in Birmingham City Centre is seeking an ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join our SEN division. You will own a specialist SEN recruitment desk, managing the full recruitment lifecycle while growing a portfolio of schools and candidates.

With uncapped commission, a clear path to Senior Consultant and above, and industry-leading training, this role offers genuine progression for graduates and experienced recruiters alike.

Qualifications

• A full UK Driving Licence is essential.
• Experience in recruitment, sales or business development is preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills are required.
• A commercial, target-driven mindset is important.

Responsibilities

• Developing relationships with SEN schools, alternative provisions and specialist education settings.
• Winning new business through proactive sales activity, referrals and networking.
• Managing client accounts and identifying growth opportunities.
• Sourcing, interviewing and placing SEN Teachers, Teaching Assistants and Support Staff.
• Advertising vacancies and attracting high-quality candidates.
• Building and maintaining a strong candidate pipeline.
• Managing temporary and permanent placements.
• Conducting client visits and candidate meetings.
• Negotiating rates and placement terms.
• Working towards KPIs, revenue targets and career progression goals.

The Role - 360 SEN Recruitment Consultant

You'll take ownership of a specialist SEN recruitment desk, managing the full recruitment lifecycle while growing a portfolio of schools and candidates.
