Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant for a long-term role in a Mainstream Primary School with a SEN Provision in Harlow. You will support pupils across primary with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and other needs, and work closely with teachers to deliver inclusive lessons.

Candidates with PRU/Alternative Provision experience, a calm and resilient approach, and flexibility to work across age groups will thrive in this setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in PRU/Alternative Provision or similar required.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN and behavioural needs.
• Calm, resilient and empathetic approach to challenging behaviour.
• Flexible to work with different age groups and settings within the provision.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across primary with varied abilities.
• Work with pupils presenting ASD, ADHD, SEMH needs.
• Assist with behaviour management and create a safe, structured environment.
• Support teachers in delivering lessons and provide interventions with individuals or small groups.
