Primary SEN Teacher - Responsibilities
Plan and deliver personalised lessons to meet the individual needs of SEN pupils in the primary age range
Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment
Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, parents/carers, and external professionals
Monitor and assess pupil progress, using data to inform tailored support strategies
Contribute to the wider life of the school, promoting inclusion and engagement across the community
Primary SEN Teacher - Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Essential
Proven experience working with children with SEN in a primary setting
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to inclusive education
