Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a dedicated SEN Primary Teacher for a Medway SEN school. The role is long-term with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate, offering a nurturing and well-resourced setting.

You will deliver engaging lessons, support pupils with diverse SEN needs including Autism/ ASD and ADHD, and maintain a safe, structured classroom that fosters academic and personal growth.

Qualifications

• QTS or ECTs welcomed
• Experience as a Primary Teacher in the UK
• Experience supporting children with SEN incl. Autism/ ASD and learning needs
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Patient, nurturing and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons aligned to SEN pupils’ needs.
• Support pupils with a range of additional needs.
• Create a safe, structured and stimulating classroom environment.
• Contribute to both academic and personal development of students.
