Qualifications

  • Experience teaching students aged 7 to KS2 levels, including EYFS.

Job description

We are looking for a SEN Teacher to join our fantastic team at 3 Dimensions School.

As a SEN Teacher, you will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises pupils' achievement and ability to develop.

You should be calm, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative teaching style, motivated by helping every pupil reach their potential.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Teaching across a wide range of learners from early years through primary.
  2. Teaching core subjects such as Maths and English.
  3. Supporting the delivery of other curriculum areas.
Skills & Knowledge
  • Experience teaching students from age 7 up to KS2 levels, including EYFS.
  • Strong core subject knowledge.
  • Planning and delivering lessons effectively.
  • Evidence-based assessment of student work.
  • Monitoring student progress with regular marking and feedback.
  • Creative and confident teaching methods.
  • Practical, play-based, hands-on approaches.
  • Consideration and inclusion of sensory needs.
Additional Duties
  • Managing student timetables and individual needs.
  • Drafting and updating Student Individual Learning Plans (ILPs).
  • Attending EHCP annual reviews and providing progress reports.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by the head of school.
