Job summary

Snap Care is seeking a SEN Nanny in Cobham (KT11) to support Sophie, a 6-year-old with physical and developmental needs. The role offers £22.00 gross per hour on weekdays and £25.00 gross per hour on weekends and bank holidays.

Start ASAP with a flexible seven-day rota; term-time weekdays 2:00 PM–8:00 PM, weekends 8:30 AM–8:00 PM. A proactive, hands-on approach is essential to promote accessibility and independence.

Qualifications

• Minimum childcare experience in nannying, nursery, school, or another childcare setting.
• Proactive, hands-on approach to promote accessibility and independence.
• Non-smoker/vaper.
• Female applicants only (genuine occupational requirement).

Responsibilities

• Care for Sophie, 6, and support play, adventures and independence.
• Supervise and engage in activities suitable for SEN needs.
• Assist with daily routines and outings while ensuring safety.

• Hours and Days of Work: Flexible, seven-day rota. Term-time weekdays: 02:00 PM–08:00 PM. Weekends and holidays: 08:30 AM–08:00 PM.

• Essential Experience: Previous childcare experience, which could be gained within nannying, nursery, school or another relevant childcare environment. A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to adapt activities and support to promote accessibility and independence. Non-smoker/vaper. This role is open to *Female applicants only.

• Desirable: Experience supporting children with SEN, additional needs, physical disabilities. Experience in rehabilitation, therapy, child development or a paediatric setting.

• Driver Required: Yes; own car for work, mileage reimbursed.
