Job summary

TLTP Group is seeking an experienced SEN Music Teacher to join a specialist complex needs setting in Barking and Dagenham. You will teach music to EYFS through to secondary for pupils with PMLD, SLD and other complex needs, with two support workers in the class and a small group of 6-8 students.

The role requires excellent behaviour management, QTS or QTLS, and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching music to EYFS to secondary PMLD.
• Strong track record of engaging pupils with complex needs in SEN settings.
• Excellent behaviour management and ability to build positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Teach Music to EYFS–Secondary PMLD in a SEN environment.
• Work with 2 support workers in the class to support pupils.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and lesson delivery.
