Job summary

TLTP Group is recruiting for a specialist SEN school in Bow, East London, to hire a KS2 SEN Teacher to work with 6-8 complex needs pupils with two support workers in the class. The role requires teaching KS2 to pupils with SEN and applying the UK Primary Curriculum within a small class setting.

The ideal candidate will have QTS or QTLS, strong behaviour management, and Team Teach or similar restraint training. DBS updated service preferred; right to work in the UK and two references required.

Qualifications

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or QTLS
• Experience teaching KS2 curriculum
• Excellent behaviour management skills
• Team Teach or similar restraint training certificate
• DBS certificate preferred (on update service)

Responsibilities

• Teach KS2 curriculum to Complex needs pupils
• Work with 2 support workers in the class
• Deliver UK Primary National Curriculum in SEN context
• Manage behaviour and build positive relationships with pupils and staff
