Job summary

Philosophy Education in Bromley is seeking an experienced Lecturer to join their specialist further education team, delivering inclusive teaching to students with additional and complex needs.

You will lead a small team of Learning Support Assistants, plan differentiated lessons, collaborate with therapists and families, and contribute to curriculum development while upholding safeguarding and student-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent professional qualification.
• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or Certificate in Education).
• Minimum of five years' experience with children/young people with additional and complex needs.
• Experience planning and delivering differentiated learning.
• Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills.
• Strong commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and student-centered learning.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team of support staff.
• Experience in specialist education, SEND settings or FE is desirable.
• Specialist SEND qualification or experience leading teams and knowledge of assistive technology would be advantageous.

The Role

As a Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated teaching that meets the individual needs of students while promoting independence, confidence and positive outcomes.
