We are currently recruiting Full Time SEN LearningSupport Workers to join our Team at Regent College.

A role in SEN is more that “Just ajob”. You are enabling and supporting people to achieve great things.

Regent College is part of National Care Group. Weprovide specialist education to young people aged 16 to 25. As a smallindependent college, we develop bespoke study programmes that promoteindependence support individual goals. We support young adults with learningdisabilities, autism, challenging behaviours and complex needs. As a SENlearning support worker, you will empower learners to develop vocational,social and independent life skills. At Regent college the majority of learningtakes place in the local community. Learners have the opportunity to volunteeror take part in work placements which allows them to develop important skillsfor the world of work. We are proud of our wonderful learners and amazing teamas we continue to work together to achieve great outcomes.

What qualities do you need to be agreat SEN learning support worker?

  • A caring attitude, with a passion for supporting others and a motivation to see them achieve goals.
  • A team player, able to work effectively with other colleagues.
  • Resilience to keep going at difficult times and the confidence to ask for support if needed.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Level 2 English & Maths is preferred but not required – willingness to progress or work towards Level 2
