Job summary

Academics Ltd is recruiting a SEN Learning Support Mentor for a specialist Alternative Provision in Stroud, Gloucestershire. You will work closely with experienced staff to support learners in managing behaviour, engaging with learning and developing social and emotional skills in a positive, safe environment.

The role focuses on implementing personalised support plans, contributing to a nurturing setting where every learner can thrive and make progress throughout the school day.

Academics are recruiting a passionate SEN Learning Support Mentor on behalf of a specialist Alternative Provision setting in Stroud, Gloucestershire.

As part of the role, you will work alongside and be supported by highly experienced teaching staff as well as a wide range of other education professionals. Your role will be essential in helping learners manage and understand their behaviour, engage in learning, and build social and emotional skills for life! You will be vital in creating a positive and supportive environment where all learners feel safe, valued, and understood whilst attending the provision so that everyone is able to develop and thrive.

• Location: Stroud
• Hours: Monday - Friday (8:30am - 3:30pm)
• Start: ASAP
• Contract: Term Time only
