TimePlan Education Group is seeking caring SEN Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) for a full-time position in Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex. The role involves 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN, helping deliver engaging lessons and supporting their social and educational development.

The ideal candidate will be patient, caring, resilient and adaptable, with teamwork skills and the ability to work in a specialist SEN setting.

Pay: £14.30 per hour | Monday-Friday

We are currently looking for caring, enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join a specialist educational setting in Westcliff-on-Sea.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support children and young people with special educational needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning, develop their confidence and achieve their full potential.

About the School

The school provides specialist education for pupils with additional learning needs, offering a supportive and inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to succeed.

With a strong emphasis on personalised learning, nurturing relationships and individual development, the setting aims to ensure pupils feel safe, valued and supported.

The Role

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN.
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
• Support pupils with their social, emotional and educational development.
• Encourage positive behaviour, communication and independence.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils.
• Help create a safe, welcoming and inclusive classroom environment.

The Ideal Candidate

• Has a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
• Is patient, caring, resilient and understanding.
• Has experience working with children or young people with SEN (desirable).
• Can adapt to different learning and communication needs.
• Works well as part of a team and uses their initiative.
