Job summary

Protocol Education are currently recruiting learning support assistants to work in an outstanding college in Kingston to start in September 2026. Our schools are recruiting teaching assistants with/without experience who are passionate in working with students with special needs on a one to one basis or within a small class.

We are currently looking for people that are keen in making a positive difference to students learning and development and enjoy the opportunity to be trained in the role.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Calm and consistent approach.
• Ability to inspire trust and motivate learners.

Responsibilities

• Support students one-to-one or in small classes (6–8 students).
• Assist with numeracy, literacy, cooking, and speech & language development.
• Engage in creative lessons such as music, art, PE and outdoor activities.
• Collaborate with teaching team to monitor student progress.
