Job summary

Classroom Support is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant for a SEN school in Margate. You will support pupils 1:1 and in small groups, helping them engage with learning and providing structure and pastoral support.

The role requires a calm, patient approach and the ability to work with pupils who may display challenging behaviour. DBS enhanced required; immediate start and potential permanent opportunity.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people with ASD/ADHD/SEMH.
• Experience providing 1:1 and/or small-group support.
• Interest in supporting pupils with SEN and additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups to engage with learning.
• Provide encouragement, structure and pastoral support.
• Maintain a calm, patient approach when working with learners.
