Job summary

Roehampton Gate School in London is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join our Education team. The role supports across key stages, assisting the class teacher, helping pupils with their work and supporting behaviour while modelling positive conduct.

We offer both full-time (37.5 hours) and part-time (three days a week) term-time contracts with flexible days, though Wednesday is essential for duties. Level 2 qualification is required; training and progression opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting in a classroom setting is essential.
• Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) is required for learners and young adults.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEN and deliver tailored learning activities.
• Work under the guidance of the class teacher to provide 1:1 and small group support.
• Assist with implementing IEPs, behaviour, and care plans.
• Promote a safe, inclusive learning environment and monitor pupil wellbeing.
• Support with classroom preparation, resources, and daily routines.
