Job summary

Vision for Education is seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to work in an SEN School in Dudley full-time. You will support students with a range of special educational needs, including learning difficulties, autism and sensory needs, helping them engage educationally and socially.

Working with a class teacher and support staff, you will provide tailored assistance in one-to-one or small-group settings, for students aged four to nineteen. DBS checks and references are required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and young people with special educational needs such as learning difficulties, autism and sensory needs.
• Strong communications skills with the ability to build rapport with students.
• DBS check and suitable references are required.

Responsibilities

• Support educational, social and emotional development of students with SEN.
• Work alongside a class teacher and team of support staff.
• Provide one-to-one or small-group support to students aged four to nineteen.
