Academics is seeking a part-time SEN Learning Support Assistant to support students in and around Rugeley. You will work under the direction of teachers in a variety of mainstream primary schools, assisting children with SEN, including those with EHCPs, ADHD, SEMH, and autism.

The role emphasizes building relationships with pupils, parents and staff, with 1:1 support for pupils as needed. A suitable candidate will have prior experience in primary settings, be DBS checked, and able to commute

Qualifications

• Experience supporting a primary class with SEN (essential).
• Confident in tailoring learning for children with additional needs.
• Willing to obtain Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsabilités

• Work with Academics and support learning in primary schools around Rugeley.
• Collaborate with staff, parents and children to ensure clear communication.
• Provide short-term/long-term and day-to-day cover across schools near Rugeley.
• Build effective relationships with students, parents and staff.
• Support pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis.
