Salary: £80 - £110 (dependent on experience)

We re working with a specialist school in Watford that supports children and young people with autism and complex needs. The school is known for its child-centred approach, high staff-to-student ratio, and strong multi-disciplinary team.
They are currently seeking a caring and committed SEN Learning Support Assistant to join the team on a full-time, term-time only basis. This is an ideal role for someone with a passion for SEN and a desire to make a real difference in students lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with autism and associated needs
Assist in delivering tailored education and therapy programmes
Support students in developing communication, social, and life skills
Help manage behaviour positively and promote emotional well-being
Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents/carers
Support with personal care needs where required
Maintain accurate records and contribute to progress tracking
Ideal Candidate:
Has previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN (preferred)
Demonstrates patience, resilience, and a nurturing approach
Works well as part of a team and takes initiative
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Is open to training and ongoing professional development
Holds an Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service or willing to apply for one)
