Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience working with children with SEN (ASD and MLD preferred)
• Knowledge of primary education frameworks and differentiated learning
• Experience with visual timetables, sensory tools, or behavior regulation strategies is highly desirable

Experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant - Uxbridge | Primary Setting

Are you a dedicated and experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant looking to make a lasting impact in a vibrant primary school environment? We're seeking a confident and compassionate professional to support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) in Uxbridge.

This is a full-time role ideal for an SEN Learning Support Assistant with at least one year of hands-on experience supporting children with special educational needs in a primary setting.

Your Role as an SEN Learning Support Assistant

In This Rewarding Position In Uxbridge, You Will

• Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support to children with ASD and MLD
• Assist the class teacher with adapting lesson materials and managing classroom behaviour
• Encourage communication, independence, and confidence through structured routines and sensory strategies
• Monitor pupil progress and share insights with teachers and SENCOs to refine support strategies
• Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
  
  

We're Looking For Someone Who

• Has over one year's experience working with children with SEN (ASD and MLD preferred)
• Brings energy, empathy, and resilience to every school day
• Has solid knowledge of primary education frameworks and differentiated learning
• Communicates clearly and effectively with children, staff, and parents
• Has experience with visual timetables, sensory tools, or behaviour regulation strategies (highly desirable)
