Job summary

Qualiteach is seeking an SEN Learning Support Assistant for a specialist SEN school in Slough on a full‑time, long‑term basis. You will work with students with complex needs, supporting learning, social and emotional development while coordinating with the teaching team.

The role requires prior SEN experience and an enhanced DBS on the update service is desirable. The position is based in Slough with accessible transport links and on-site staff parking.

Qualifications

• Experience working in an SEN setting or supporting children with additional needs is required.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service is desirable.
• Experience delivering engaging lessons and supporting social, emotional and academic development in students with diverse needs.

Responsibilities

• Support students with a range of additional needs, including ASD/ADHD/SEMH.
• Work one-to-one and in small groups to support lessons and development.
• Collaborate with class teachers and multidisciplinary teams to promote student progress.

The Role – SEN Learning Support Assistant

Qualiteach is looking for an SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming SEN school based in Slough on a full‑time, long‑term basis. As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will be supporting students with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and complex learning difficulties. You will work closely with the class teacher and wider multidisciplinary team to help deliver engaging lessons, support students on a one‑to‑one and small group basis, and promote their social, emotional and academic development. To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience working within an SEN setting or supporting children with additional needs. An enhanced DBS on the update service is desirable.
