Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Mentor to support pupils in a Towwer Hamlets SEN school. You will work closely with pupils, teachers and families to help children overcome barriers to learning and promote well-being.

You will deliver 1:1 and small group interventions, model positive behaviour, and support inclusive practice within the classroom. Excellent communication and empathy are essential attributes for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Secondary or SEN setting.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships and be a positive role model.
• Empathy and patience where required.
• Experience with promoting child development.

Responsibilities

• Support children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health throughout the school.
• Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions.
• Work alongside Teachers to develop strategies that support learning and inclusion.
• Promote positive behaviour.
• Liaise with parents and carers whenever required.
