Job summary

Horizon Teachers is seeking a KS3 SEN Teaching Assistant to work with students with Social and Emotional difficulties in an SEN school in Harlow. Whether you have education experience or a background in care, this role offers a stepping stone in education.

The role supports teachers with engaging lessons, one-to-one and group assistance, and managing behaviour while motivating pupils with SEN. DBS checks and QTS/equivalent are part of the registration process.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant desirable.
• Support the class teachers in delivering engaging and interactive lessons.
• Provide one to one support or group assistance.
• Motivating pupils with SEN.
• Assisting with behaviour management.
• Strong communication skills and being able to work in a team.
