Job summary

Qualiteach Education Group Ltd is seeking a confident SEN HLTA to support pupils aged 4-19 in a specialist SEN setting in Southwark, London. The role involves leading small-group and whole-class activities, delivering targeted interventions, and covering lessons as needed.

You will work closely with teachers and therapists to help pupils achieve EHCP outcomes, promote independence, and maintain a positive behaviour and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a HLTA within an SEN setting required.
• Experience supporting pupils with autism, SLD, PMLD or complex needs desirable.
• Must be confident leading lessons, delivering interventions and supporting behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Lead small-group and whole-class learning activities with pupils aged 4-19.
• Deliver targeted interventions to support EHCP outcomes and progress.
• Provide cover for lessons when required.
• Support pupil independence and promote positive behaviour in a structured environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and therapists to ensure inclusive learning.

The Role - SEN HLTA
Seeking a confident and proactive SEN HLTA to support pupils aged 4-19 within a specialist SEN setting. You will work closely with teachers and therapists to lead small-group and whole-class learning activities, deliver targeted interventions and provide cover for lessons when required. The role involves supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism, severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties and associated communication needs. You will help pupils work towards their EHCP outcomes, promote independence, support positive behaviour and contribute to a structured and inclusive learning environment.
