Justteachers Ltd in Stratford-upon-Avon are seeking a flexible General Cover Teacher to work in a secondary school from September 2026. The role covers multiple subject areas, ensuring continuity of learning during staff absences while maintaining a positive classroom environment.

The ideal candidate has QTS or equivalent, experience with pupils with SEND, strong classroom management, patient and adaptable approach, plus good communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent qualified teacher status.
• Experience working with children or young people with SEND.
• Excellent classroom management and behaviour support skills.
• Patient, empathetic and adaptable approach to teaching.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsabilités

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of curriculum subjects to pupils with SEN.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet the individual needs and learning styles of students.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Manage behaviour positively using strategies appropriate for pupils with additional needs.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider school staff to support student development.
• Provide feedback to class teachers and school leaders on pupil engagement and progress.
• Follow safeguarding policies and contribute to the wellbeing of all pupils.
