It is a really exciting time as the academy’s development look to expand their provision, enhance the curriculum offer and build a reputation as the alternative provider of choice in the county. They have made some really exciting appointments in the last year at a time where recruitment presents its challenges and are now looking to offer a full-time permanent contract for a teacher to join their academy.
They are looking to recruit an experienced and inspiring teacher to join the academy to teach Food Technology to pupils in KS3 and KS4. The staffing teams are small compared to mainstream schools and the post will suit a teacher who will take ownership of their subject and is willing to be flexible to meet the needs of the pupils and the academy. Classes may have up to around 10 pupils with an allocated form tutor.
We welcome applications from candidates who are able to teach engaging and inspiring lessons to challenging and disengaged KS3 and 4 pupils. This is a Food Technology teaching position; however, experience in the delivery of other subjects will be advantageous.

The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all its pupils. We expect all staff, volunteers and agency staff to share this commitment.
