Food Technology Teacher (Secondary), Sheffield

Career Teachers have an exciting opportunity to work within Sheffield-based secondary schools as a Food Technology Teacher.

We are currently looking for QTS or PGCE qualified Food Technology teachers to work on either a full-time or part-time basis.

We seek a dedicated and motivational teacher to support Key Stage 3 & 4 pupils. Whether you have extensive teaching experience or are a recent graduate, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

1. Deliver engaging and comprehensive Food Tech lessons to students.
2. Teach both theory and practical lessons within the subject.
3. Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
4. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum.
6. Maintain classroom standards in line with school policies.
7. Cover other subjects as required.

Candidate Qualifications and Skills:

1. QTS or PGCE qualification.
2. Recent, relevant experience as a Food Technology Teacher at KS3 & KS4 levels.
3. Flexible, committed, motivated, and passionate about teaching.
4. Current DBS or willingness to obtain one.
5. Ability to commute easily to Sheffield and South Yorkshire areas.

Additional Details:

Immediate start dates are available. The role offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time options, allowing you to choose your working hours.

Salary ranges from £120 to £180 per day, inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay.
