Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking a Family Liaison Officer to support families across the region. You will work with parents, young people, carers and local authorities to develop collaborative, life-changing solutions and coordinate visits to families.

This role requires experience with special educational needs, strong safeguarding knowledge, and the ability to connect families with local resources. You will join a dedicated team in a school and contribute to excellent OFSTED outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience with SEN and working with families in challenging circumstances.
• Strong collaboration with local authorities and schools.
• Empathetic and able to coordinate multi-agency support.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate visits with parents and local authorities to plan support.
• Develop strategies to help families cope with educational challenges.
• Assist with admissions interviews and inductions.
