Job summary

Remedy Education is recruiting EYFS Teaching Assistants to work on flexible, temporary placements across Lewisham primary schools. You will support early learners with play-based and structured activities, collaborating with teachers to foster a safe, engaging learning environment.

Ideal candidates will hold an NVQ/Cache Level 3 in Early Years, have DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one, and bring a passion for helping children begin their learning journey.

The EYFS Teaching Assistant Role:

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you'll support early learners through play-based and structured activities, working closely with teachers to create a safe, engaging environment that nurtures development.

What We’re Looking For:

• NVQ or Cache Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years Education - essential
• 6 months + classroom experience - preferred
• Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
• A passion for supporting children in the early stages of learning
