Job summary

New Forest School in the United Kingdom is seeking a creative practitioner to help SEN students find theirs. You will plan and deliver lessons for Years 7–11, sparking curiosity and building confidence through language and literature.

The successful candidate will join our English Department at the Dibden site, working with young people, with a focus on inclusive education and safeguarding. Training and professional development are provided.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience or enthusiasm for SEN settings.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons following the national curriculum.
• Work in SEN settings to support students.
• Be approachable, flexible and adaptable to make a difference.
• Intervene safely when required using Team Teach techniques (training provided).
• Build and maintain positive relationships with pupils and staff.
