Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking a SEN English Teacher for an SEN secondary school in Epping. You will teach English to pupils aged 11-18 with diverse SEN needs, designing accessible lessons and collaborating with SEN staff.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and accessible lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
• Teach pupils between the ages of 11-18.
• Adapt curriculum content to meet a wide range of additional needs and abilities.
• Create a safe, structured, comfortable and supportive learning environment.
• Build positive, consistent relationships with pupils to support engagement and progress.
• Work closely with SEN support staff, therapists and wider school teams.
• Monitor, assess and report on pupil progress in line with school expectations.
• Support positive behavior management across the classroom.
