A leading education provider in Bicester is looking for a SEN Education and Engagement Specialist to design and deliver personalized learning sessions for young people with special educational needs. This role focuses on 1:1 support in homes or specialist settings, engaging with students to help them rediscover learning. The ideal candidate will have experience in education and strong behaviour management skills, offering a competitive hourly rate and travel allowances.

Competenze

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a teacher, tutor or SEN specialist.
• Background in Primary, Secondary or Post 16 teaching.
• Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.

Mansioni

• Work with children 1:1 or 2:1 in home or specialist settings.
• Plan and deliver creative educational sessions.
• Engage with students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH needs.

Conoscenze

Experience with children and young people with SEN/SEMH needs

De-escalation and behaviour management skills

Ability to plan personalized educational sessions
