Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Northampton is seeking a dedicated SEN Cover Supervisor for a specialist Secondary SEN & Alternative Provision setting. This full-time, long-term role supports students with SEN, SEMH and behavioural needs, with an immediate start and a daily pay of £110–£140 DOE.

The role requires a Full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle, and offers a supportive working environment with opportunities to make a difference daily.

Qualifications

• Experience within SEN, SEMH, or Alternative Provision preferred
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Calm, patient, and adaptable approach
• Passionate about supporting vulnerable young people
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-set lessons and supervise classroom learning
• Support students with SEN, SEMH, and additional behavioural needs
• Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Build positive and trusting relationships with students
• Create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment
• Work collaboratively with teaching and pastoral teams
