Job summary

New Directions Education is actively recruiting confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to work within specialist provisions across Leeds. The role focuses on delivering pre-planned lessons, managing behaviour, and supporting pupils with SEN in a busy school environment.

You will gain experience across various subjects and year groups, building relationships with students and staff while maintaining a safe and inclusive learning space. DBS checks are required.

Qualifications

• Previous Cover Supervisor experience is essential.
• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Confidence leading groups of students independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A calm, resilient, and professional approach.
• A genuine passion for supporting young people’s development and education.
