Job summary

Empowering Learning Ltd in Lancashire is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to support and deliver pre-planned engaging lessons across various subjects within a SEND or Behavioural school. You will help maintain a positive learning environment and deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching.

Ideal candidates have experience in SEN or PRU settings, strong behaviour management, and the ability to work flexibly to support students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering lessons in SEN or PRU settings.
• Strong SEN/SEMH strategies to support diverse needs.
• Ability to build positive relationships and maintain a safe, inclusive environment.
• Proactive and adaptable approach to classroom management.

Are you a cover supervisor in a SEND or Behavioural School? We are seeking dedicated professionals to support and deliver pre planend engaging lessons across various subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons and provide dynamic, engaging learning experiences.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, using positive behaviour management strategies.
• Adapt teaching methods to support students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH

Requirements:

• Experience in covering or supervising lessons in a SEN or PRU (Pupil Referral Unit) setting.
• Strong understanding of SEN and SEMH strategies to support diverse learning needs.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and promote a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• A proactive and adaptable approach to classroom management.
