Milk Education is recruiting a purpose-driven Classroom Assistant to support primary and secondary schools in the Surrey area, focusing on SEN settings. You will assist with lesson prep, manage classroom activities, and provide targeted support to students, helping with literacy, numeracy, behavior, and social-emotional development.

This role offers flexibility through supply work and is suitable for both new and experienced assistants.

Formación

• Graduates in Psychology, Criminology, Youth & Community Work, or related fields.
• Non-graduates with relevant experience in youth work, mentoring, or social care are also encouraged to apply.
• A strong interest in working with young people who are at risk of entering the criminal justice system.
• Sincerity is key - what drives you, and why do you want to support some of the most vulnerable children in society.
• A calm, patient, and resilient approach, with the ability to de-escalate challenging situations.
• Experience with vulnerable young people, SEMH, or youth offending is desirable but not essential—full training provided.
• A genuine passion for advocacy, social justice, and rehabilitation.

Responsabilidades

Classroom Assistant Redhill, Surrey (RH1) | SEN School

Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious Classroom Assistant to join our team supporting primary & secondary schools across a few of our schools in the Surrey area.

As a classroom assistant, you'll be working across a range of Primary & Secondary schools based withinyour local area that are specializes in SEN settings.

Supporting teachers with lesson prep, managing classroom activities, and providing individual or small-group support to students, focusing on literacy, numeracy, behavior, and social-emotional development. They help create a positive learning environment, work with children with special needs, and sometimes supervise activities outside the classroom.

You will be provided with a variety of lesson plans to support your teaching and ensure that you are prepared no matter what is thrown at you.

This is an exciting role for a new or experienced classroom assistant to work in some lovely local schools in your area! Working on supply is a super flexible way of working and we can find you work that fits around you and your commitments as a classroom assistant.
