Job summary

SANZA Teaching Agency is seeking an enthusiastic SEN Class Teacher to cover maternity leave at a Tower Hamlets primary school in East London. You will lead a small class of 10 pupils with complex needs and work with four experienced Teaching Assistants, under the guidance of a supportive SENDCO, with a December handover prior to January start.

The role requires QTS, a proven track record with complex needs, and a collaborative, inclusive approach.

Qualifications

• Must hold QTS and have a proven track record of teaching children with complex needs.
• Experience as SEN Teacher with high energy, enthusiasm and passion for inclusive education.
• Strong leadership to direct and collaborate with a large team of Teaching Assistants.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small class of 10 pupils with complex needs.
• Collaborate with 4 Teaching Assistants and SENDCO to ensure smooth transition and delivery of provision.
• Take part in December handover ahead of January start.

Salary: Up to MPS 6 + SEN Allowance (dependent on experience)

Start Date: January start (with a paid handover period in December)
