An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and committed Class Teacher to join a brand-new specialist provision opening this September.

Our client, a leading special education provider, is launching a new site as part of a wider strategic expansion to meet increasing local demand for high-quality SEND education.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a pioneering team from day one, helping to shape an inclusive, nurturing and aspirational learning environment for children with a range of moderate to severe learning difficulties and complex needs-including Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC), and associated challenges.

The Role:

  • Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons that cater to individual needs.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and emotionally supportive classroom culture.
  • Work in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team including therapists, support staff, and families.
  • Employ diverse communication strategies to support learning and engagement.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching as needed.
  • Ensure the well-being, safety, and holistic development of every pupil.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching children with SEND in a mainstream or specialist setting.
  • Passionate about inclusive education and improving outcomes for all learners.
  • Flexible, innovative, and resilient in approach.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
